About Aurora Studios

Our History

Aurora Studios was founded in 2010 by Eleanor Vance, a visionary creative director with a passion for visual storytelling and a deep understanding of the evolving landscape of visual effects and animation. Eleanor, a Seattle native with years of experience working in both independent film and major Hollywood productions, recognized a need for a studio that could combine cutting-edge technology with a collaborative and artist-centric approach. She envisioned a space where talented artists could thrive, pushing the boundaries of creative possibility while delivering exceptional results for clients of all sizes.

Starting as a small team operating out of a converted warehouse space in Seattle’s vibrant Fremont neighborhood, Aurora Studios quickly gained a reputation for its innovative work and commitment to quality. Early projects included visual effects for independent films, animated shorts, and commercials. As the studio's reputation grew, so did its clientele, expanding to include major film studios, television networks, and interactive media companies. In 2015, Aurora Studios moved to its current state-of-the-art facility in downtown Seattle, a space designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

Over the years, Aurora Studios has been involved in numerous award-winning projects, from blockbuster films to critically acclaimed television series. We are proud to have contributed to the success of countless stories, bringing imagination to life on screens around the world.
